Surgery

My hubby had his very first surgery last week...amidst finishing class and taking care of David, we decided to get his wisdom teeth taken out! :) He did pretty well I must say...he was kind of out of it when I came back to the recovery room to meet him. He flashed me a sleepy, gauze-filled grin and told me he felt ok. We got him home to his pudding, yogurt and apple sauce and not too much later, he was dead to the world! I couldn't help capturing the moment!

Hello!

So, I decided to start a blog. I figured this would be a good way of keeping family and friends (who don’t have facebook J) up to date on life.

I’ve thought about blogging for a long time, but I’m not a fabulous writer or a deep thinking theologian or a world traveler or really anything interesting! So all that being said, I didn’t feel like I had much to write about…until about three months ago. On September 10th, 2009 at 5:14am my son came into the world and life got a little more interesting!! And it’s about to continue that way as we uproot ourselves from Minneapolis, selling basically everything we own, drive over to Michigan to visit my family for a few weeks (with everything left to our name in the mini-van) and then drive 1599.25 miles to move to Florida! Once we arrive, my husband Zach will be working for his Dad’s window washing company and I (while doing part time administrative work for the company) will be moving on to my dream career…stay-at-home motherhood!!

Until moving day, I am working 4 days a week while Zach stays home with David and attempts between feedings and play time to finish his very last college class via distance education. We’ve only got one week left of our little role reversal and then we’re on to our next chapter, we’re excited, stressed, nervous and sad but trusting in the Lord’s goodness and grace! And that is Tarter life lately!!
